Driving Directions to Camp Site

Hello Campers, as you already may know from the Camp Letters you all received – this year’s camp site is only 20 minutes away from La Canada! Because of this, your parents must drop you off at the site.

Here are the detailed instructions and directions again for your reference!

DROP OFF

Please drop off your children according to the following grades:

• 11th and 12th Graders – 2:30 PM
• 9th and 10th Graders – 3:00 PM
• 7th and 8th Graders – 3:30 PM

This will help prevent traffic jams and problems on the road.  Please try and be on time.  If you are dropping off more than one camper in different grades, please come at the earliest available time.  Ex:  If you are dropping off an 11th grader and an 8th grader, please come at 2:30 PM.  The drop off will be at the bottom of the road to camp off Angeles Crest Highway.

***Red Balloons and Signs will be on the Road to guide you once you are off the freeway. Staff members will be at the drop off site to guide you once there***

PICK UP

All Campers – 2:30 PM

For pick up, parents will be driving up to the camp parking lot and picking up their children there.  Please arrive on time, since the road into camp is one way, to prevent traffic jams.  Staff will be at the bottom and top of the road to guide you once there.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP SITE

• Take the 2 North Freeway to La Canada
• Change to the 210 East Freeway
• Exit Angeles Crest HWY
• Turn Left off the Freeway to get on to Angeles Crest Hwy
• Travel North (up) on Angeles Crest Highway/CA-2               9.3 Miles
• Turn LEFT onto Angeles Forest Highway                              8.3 Miles
• Turn RIGHT onto Upper Big Tujunga                                     1.2 Miles
• Turn RIGHT onto Colby Ranch Rd.                                       1.5 Miles
